Recent posting has shied away from story or writing-related posts to video and/or images, and I wanted to apologize. As some of you know, not only do I have family and business commitments, but I’m involved in ministry as well, teaching a weekly Bible study and occasionally preaching for Sunday services at my church. This has been one of those weeks where I’m tying down commissions and scheduled to minister, so much of my attention has been focused there.
This being an author’s blog, I want to address faith issues as they relate to my writing or story lines, and avoid ranting or reacting to matters such as the latest “Rapture prediction fiasco”. (What is it that obliges people to predict something Jesus Himself clearly said was unpredictable? “God has opened the Scripture to me and I’ve done the mystical, mathematical calculations, so don’t be in the bathroom when He returns.” Somebody smack this guy, please. If he had any dignity, he’d resign and stop such nit-wittery.)
