Personally I’ve begun to suspect that ALL books–regardless of the faith of their authors–should be rated. Especially now that we are moving away from dust jackets. Perhaps it’s my experience with the last two books I’ve read, neither of which were authored by Christians. In one case there was a large dose of child p::r=. In the other there was some out of the blue major racism.
WRTo Christian fiction specifically…I think the market has gelled to a place where folks expect a narrow set of styles and anything beyond that needs to be marketed outward.
