Most of you know I’m not a full-time writer. Here’s probably why I spend too much time trying to fit every word just right.
A simple leaded glass Victorian panel for 60″ diameter, half-round window. This went in today in a private residence in Kingston, MA. Tough to get decent picture, but the clients were pleased with the results. The window enhanced the decor without overpowering it, which is the desired result in most residential settings.
Made with 1/4″ and 3/16″ lead came, clear double glue-chip in the body, clear crackle glass perimeter, and streaky champagne/white interior border. Beveled accents spice up the border and draw attention to the center.
Gorgeous.
Do you do your own beveling or do you outsource?
I have a 4-stage disc beveller for those rare occasions I need to do my own, but in general I use stock bevel clusters from Mika.
